Ok so I was really hesitant to spend money on a cushion because I thought how different can it really be from just a regular foam pad. The answer is VERY different. This thing is on another level. I have a herniated disc at L4-L5 and sitting for more than 20 minutes used to cause shooting pain down my left leg. Since using this cushion I can sit for 2+ hours without the same level of discomfort. I won't say it's a cure obviously - please see a doctor if you have back issues - but as a complementary tool this is excellent. The breathability is also real, not just marketing speak. My old cushion used to make me sweaty after an hour. This one doesn't. Five stars without hesitation.
